Capture the Moment Week 5

So I made it to the last round.  I have a busy week so I did my page quickly.  I had to start over a few times to get it right.  Here it is, and now the judges will decide and I must wait.  It was a good run and I got farther than I ever thought I would, all the way to the final round.  From nearly 60 to the top 10!

Can't wait to discover what the mystery grand prize is.

This Scrapper's Got Talent Entires

Stuff to Scrap is having a contest right now.  Here are my first 2 entries.  Here's hoping I get to move on again to week 3.  


Week 1: We had a template challenge.  Use any kit and the provide template.  Only requirement was to rearrange the template in some way.  It was amazing the wide variation between the entries.  I used Authentic Life Collab by Darlene Haughin, Monika Digital Designs, ShellyMarie Scraps, and Nibbles Scribbles.

Week 2:  We were given a "recipe" of what should be on our page.  10 flowers, 9 leaves, 8 buttons, 7 ribbons, 6 fasteners, 5 papers, 4 shapes, 3 frames, 2 pictures, 1 word title. We were also told to leave white space.  I used Blue Skies and Sunshine by Nibbles Skribbles and SKrappers Digitals with some extra buttons by Amiee Harrison Designs from Song of Spring collab, and leaves from Misty Belle in Hello My Name is Collab, and Scraps of Ellay's Waiting for the Stork.

Capture the Moment Week 4

They are really making us work at theStudio for this Capture the Moment contest.  Week 4 was about Fall. We were instructed to focus on the theme of Loss.  we used this great kit  Autumn Reflections by Skrapper Digitals.

The story I  shared was about the circumstance of my Grandfather's death a year ago.  My family and I had plans to go to Disney World.  My grandpa passed away that night.  While we were having fun.

Due to the nature of the assignment and the stories everyone told in their pages.  No one was eliminated and all 10 of us have made it to the final round.  We will be using the Fa La La Bundle by Digilicious Designs and scrapping Christmas.

I made it to week 3 of the Capture the Moment contest.  This included things I was not use to working with.  And made it a real challenge.  We used Blue Wave a new kit by Julie C Designs.  Here is my week 3 entry.

We were provided a free kit and could only use it to make a page with the theme "First Look"  It also has a Spring theme.  Each week's challenge will be based on a season.

This Scrappers Got Talent

One of my favorite stores is having a design contest.  I"m not quite ready to design kits but I love designing pages.  They are only taking 100 people in the contest. And I'm one of them, I can't wait to design! Check it out at the Stuff to Scrap forum.
